New Hampshire Electric Cooperative is not your traditional electric utility. We are not-for-profit, owned by the members we serve and governed by the democratic process, so we put our members first in everything we do. Founded in 1939 and headquartered in Plymouth, we connect our members through 6,000 miles of energized lines in 115 communities throughout New Hampshire. We think differently because we belong to the members and communities we serve.
NHEC is a democratically controlled electric cooperative, which means you have a direct say in how your Co-op is run.
The NHEC Foundation supports the non-profits and charities that are working to improve the quality of life in our communities.
